Aroma is a full rich roasted malt, big wheat surge, banana and caramel, copper, pours a short lived custard head. Flavour is a subtler version of the nose, but still has the rich sweet malt, caramel, wheat, banana and spice. Light bodied, refreshing, quite drinkable. A very good offering.

On tap at the 2009 Church Key Spring Revival. Nice deep orange pour, good sized white head. Sweet boozy aroma with some spices. Good taste - sweet, boozy and spicy again. Packs a bit of a bunch but it is sneaky. I quite enjoyed this.

Draught at C’est What?. Pours a clear deep golden-orange with a small lasting frothy off-white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of diacytl, spices, yeast, banana and citrus. Flavour has lots of spice up front followed by yeast, sweet malt, banana, some alcohol and bitterness. Average to medium bodied. I don’t love it, just O.K.

Draught. At C’est What. Slightly hazy reddish-amber pour with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma - diacetyl, big time - sweet, somewhat boozy, yeasty, cereal grain and banana bread. The taste is better, not as much paper and stale caramel, mostly sweet yeasty banana with light alcohol and floral bitterness, and in the finish grapeskins. Slick, slightly boozy mouthfeel, buttery and a little spicy in the linger. I really want to like this, but it comes across a bit homebrew-y.

On tap at C’est What? Hazy amber pour, with a fluffy off white head. Right off, i was expecting something darker. Great aroma of banana, cloves, and sweet malt, and butterscotch. It’s a tad light for a weizen bock, but man, it’s still a really nice beer. Great spicy esters, qualitty effort!

A hazed orange amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, a wonderful banana, ginger, butterscotch an berries. In mout, a nice malty weizen, a bit lighter than expected, with nice herbal notes, ginger and bananas. On tap at C’est What, March 21, 2009.

This is the newest offering from the Church Key Brewery in Ontario, Canada. I tried it on February 20, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer pours a medium honey gold colour, slightly cloudy, and a creamy white head. The aroma was malt, bananas, sweets spices, and a little citrus. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with a slippery feel, and mild carbonation. The flavour was malty, slightly sweet, with a little spice and citrus notes thrown in.
