Commercial Description:
Our original brew, (some just call it "Church-Key".) This Stock Ale was designed to be a throw back to the tavern ales of the 40’s and 50’s. Crisp, light palette with a dry citrus finish.

341mL from a sixer, given to me by Tupalev, glad I could help clear some cellar space Jeff! Thanks! Pours a very nice deep gold with a large white head, good retention and lacing. The aroma is very pleasant, actually quite crisp, good hop signature and hints of a simple but strong malt backing. Fruity esters are present as well, most notably some peach. Subtle floral quality to it that I can appreciate. The flavour is very sweet, lots of residual sugar and malt backbone, some cereal grains, but well rounded out in the finish with a small but significant hop zing. Quite tasty and sessionable, a very nice Ontario brew, semi-obscure due to lack of availability. Thanks again Jeff!

On tap at the brewery: Golden body, small white head. Aroma: Slight malt and hops, some caramel and a tiny bit of wheat. Flavour: Malty and grainy, a little nutty. Not bad.

Draft. Golden appearance, with a little lacing. Hoppy aroma, with hints of spice. Creamy taste, with a nice spicy hop as well as a touch of hops and some fruitiness. Nice finish. Flavour gets a little flat as you down it. Pretty nice beer overall.

growler from the brewery. Nice bright golden pour, with a small white head. Aroma is quite grainy, with lots of corn, and some sweet malt. Flavour is again quite grainy, with some big corn notes, with a touch of hops in the end. A good session ale.
