Bottle at ’Golden Tap Awards 2013’, beerbistro. As "St. George Strong Nut Brown". Pours almost black with a small diminishing frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, vanilla, nuts, some butteryness, chocolate and maple syrup notes. Flavour of caramel malt, nuts, chocolate, toffee and maple syrup. Medium bodied. Better then I expected, not great but pretty good.

2013-09-18. Very dark brown body with a tiny beige head that fades. 3+ Aroma is sweetly malty, notes of caramel and nutty accents. Flavour is pretty sweet and malty, pleasant caramel notes, dusty malt and nutty touches. 7+ Very smooth medium bodied palate, very low carbonation. 3+ Pretty enjoyable, is relatively simple but I quite like the malt profile. Bottle at Golden Tap Awards as "St. George’s Nut Brown", Beer Bistro, Toronto
