COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Some traditions are newer than others. Church Street is proud to present our take on the American IPA with this dry-hopped, West Coast IPA thatís brimming with Cascade hop aroma, giving this tangerine-beauty a fruity and refreshing nose. Donít be surprised if you find yourself sniffing more than sipping! A bold bitterness is rounded out by notes of citrus and grapefruit, and a slightly hoppy finish. Cheers!

[Bottle] Murky amber pour with a fizzy head on it. Aromas of citrus zest, caramel malts and hints of grass. Taste is herbal hops, lighter pine cone notes, citrus and biscuit malts. Overall the bitterness here is pretty weak. Very run-of-the-mill.

This is the first Church Street beer Iíve had that doesnít taste like some weird hefeweizen so it has that going for it at least. Itíls orange golden in appearance and has a small head of fine bubbles. This is a heavy, sweet and very bitter IPA. It almost comes off as a IIPA despite relatively modest gravity for the style. The focus seems to be on melon-like fruit notes and resinous bitterness in the finish. Despite its sweetness, this is really a hop focused brew w/ the malt only expressing itself as just a hint of nuttiness. This is a decent beer but for the style, Iíd prefer something more refreshing w/ a more vibrant hop presence.

Bottle. Pours a medium copper, thin white head, nose is citrus and piney hops. Mouth is medium bodied, apricot, caramel, spent grain and a whole lotta bitter.

Draft. From notes. Citrus and herbal hops with just a slight hint of something a bit tart. Very good.

From bottle. Almost no head, but good resins aroma, which carries over to flavor. Not excellent, but a solid IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

6 pack from 7-11 on irving park rd in wood dale. aroma is bready undertone, beneath darkened pine, near balance struck. appearance is cascading burnished copped reduced to blonde at glass bottom, nice lacing, good head retention. good overall bitterness, good balance but still clearly not an APA.

12 oz. bottle. Pours an orangish amber with a small off white head. Aroma of grass and herbal hop notes intermixed with caramel malts. Mild tangerine and earthy tones emit from the glass as well. Flavor is moderately bitter, with a burnt caramel toffee sweetness. Medium bodied with average to slightly below average carbonation. Finishes with medium bitterness. This adequate but certainly average.

Bottle pour average gold. Nose dank hop toffee and vegetal. Taste bitter and dank hop, but also the vegetal presence. Astringent bitter finish. Fair amount of bitter but not that pleasurable.

Pours a slightly hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma seems sweet. It contains grapefruit, caramel, resin hops, mango, and slight pine impressions. The taste is initially sharp in pine. It is big on caramel, while having less resin. It isnít very fruity. It is more sweet, while not being very bitter. Aftertaste is a piney caramel and lingers for a bit. Medium bodied, slick in texture, while about average in carbonation, though less for an IPA. This isnít what Iím really looking for in this style.

Nice light bronze color and hoppy aroma. Fulfilling dry hop taste in the mouth and smooth finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
