4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2013 on tap at the brewery tasting room. pours gold with a nice 2 finger bubbly white head. aroma is light corn, light malt, and light german hops and some grass. flavor is the same as aroma but stronger and the hops sticks to your tongue for a bit. lacing is on par and very nice. this is more of a hoppy german helles than a pale lager. body is light to medium. very nice!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap and shaker served at Otto’s in Lombard, IL.. Showed a hazed, golden hue, with a soft white, billowy head, and lasting cling to the rings & spots of lacing. The aroma was light grain, light noble and Pils hints, as light floral and corn, a dry nature, and just a touch of sweetness as it warmed. Light to medium bodied and lively carbonated, the flavor also offered a moderate, lingering hop bitterness with some earthy qualities. More in the German Pils realm. Crisp, clean, and nicely sessionable.
