3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: FEB 27, 2013 Pounded a few of these with Lieutenant Worf in the holodeck recently. Hot. hot, heat, my brothers. Plenty of heat but nice sweet pepper flavor as well, pretty good burn on the finish but that dissipates quickly.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. Some pepper in the aroma and the flavor. The pepper grows. This beer brought huge sweetness and peppers and almost nothing else.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle, purchased lovingly from John’s grocery and carefully stored for the perfect moment to spring it on the tasting group. Again, loving that little string in the wax - makes life much easier. Pour is hazy ruby amber, small beige head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is orange, pepper, cleaning fluid, malts. Flavor is medium sweet, a bit of tartness (infection?), medium heat - not overpowering by any means. Pepper flavors evident. Light body. After Morning Wood I was expecting the worst, but I must say this was a surprisingly drinkable beer. Another CIB tick for me, along with the shot of RB street cred that goes with it!

2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Brown with red tone color. Smell of dried mango rolled in chili pepper. Similar flavor with heat. Not as bad as morning wood is the best i can say. Off putting.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
FIRST CIB RATE BRAH!
Dark maroon color, zero head or lace. Aroma of spoiled vegetable stew. Rotten peas, spoiled carrots, and wilted chili peppers. Honestly not too hot; putrid is a good word.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Wierd fucking beer. Flavor is warm orange juice or those little orange juice nugget candies and a lingering spice.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
BoLOLttle. Pour is weird and hazy, all I remember from this (admittedly was a little drunk) is a terrible burning sensation destroying my mouth, and my stomach. Not good, too hot for me to enjoy. I think I needed a different mindset.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle shared at Natifest ’13. Poured cloudy brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate earthy roasted pepper aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate hot spice flavor with a medium spice hot finish of moderate to long duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.
