Made with The World’s Hottest Chilie “Trinidad Scorpion” not to mention Ghost Chilies from Volcano Peppers. This Chilie Beer Isn’t melt your face hot but Don’t get it in your eyes! We were looking for good flavor and Spicy at the bottom of the glass. Beer Fests and Selected Draught Locations.

A unique beer that is a must try for anyone who likes heat. It reminded me of a light beer I had with a few drops of Cayenne Pepper Extract. Enjoyed this beer at a beer tasting event, Brrfest, in Coralville, IA

Dark maroon color, zero head or lace. Aroma of spoiled vegetable stew. Rotten peas, spoiled carrots, and wilted chili peppers. Honestly not too hot; putrid is a good word.

BoLOLttle. Pour is weird and hazy, all I remember from this (admittedly was a little drunk) is a terrible burning sensation destroying my mouth, and my stomach. Not good, too hot for me to enjoy. I think I needed a different mindset.

Bottle shared at Natifest ’13. Poured cloudy brown color with an average frothy tan head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate earthy roasted pepper aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Moderate hot spice flavor with a medium spice hot finish of moderate to long duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.

pours hazy reddish amber with no head. aroma is like tart raspberry jelly. flavor follows suit and adds nice heat. mouthfeel is medium and syrupy with a burning finish that isnt overbearing.

Bottle shared at Pauls. Poured a murky and muddy chocolate brown with an average foamy light beige head. Aroma is weird, notes of veggies, some green peppers but lots 9f tomatoes oddly enough. Average body with strong pepper heat at first that slowly calms down. Flavor is not good some sort of pepper and tomato combination.

Taster from a bottle shared at Natifest 2013. WTF... This is so spicy. Spicier than the chipotle stout I had earlier today. No burn, but a very herbal spiciness. Light hint of orange zest is overwhelmed by the spiciness. Bigger body. Light carbonation. More dry finish. Hazy dark brown / red color. No head or lace. Mild sweet taste, but big spiciness. Got to admire the level of heat in this. Next spiciest beer I think I’ve had behind Elevator’s Ghost Scorpion. A perfect amount of heat, though, not undrinkable. Vegetables somewhere in the aroma. This is a really impressive chile beer. Really grew on me a bit, once I realized that this was supposed to be a scorpion beer. Wrecked my palate for a little while, though.

Bottle shared at Natifest 2013. Pours a murky brown. Nose green chili, vegetal, and syrupy sweet malt. Taste initial very sweet and slightly fruity, followed by vegetal flavors, then heat. Followed by more heat then burn. Very interesting beer but not "good". Small taste was plenty.

750 ml bottle from John’s Grocery, shipped by pepsican himself. Thanks! Pours a cloudy amber color with no head. Aroma of sour fruits, tons of vegetables - especially tomato, along with sweaty socks. Flavor of plum, peppers throughout, brine- it tastes like a Bloody Mary with pickles, peppers, and cucumbers that was left in the fridge for a week and all blended together weirdly. Which is to say, not as bad as other CIB beers. The spice lingers in the back of the throat and even the chest, but it doesn’t destroy the palate because of the briny, vinegary character. Medium-bodied, with low-to-moderate carbonation. This is the best of the four CIB beers I got. It’s bizarre, not something I need more than an ounce of, and not something I’d have again, but it’s not all-out garbage juice.
