3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, - MAY 30, 2006
Polypin @ Red Lion, Swanage. On the sweetish side with some acidity to balance. Slight solventy aroma. Fruit flavours mostly fermented out leaving earthier cider flavours. Quite nice but on the sweet side for my preference.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 imdownthepub (7473) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2010
Bag in a box at The Square & Compasses, Worth Matravers, Dorset. Hazed orange gold with no head. Sweeter and fuller than the dry, obvious really I suppose, but with a more fleshy fruit flavour. Chunky with a reasonable acidity. Pleasant.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 25, 2009
A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF. Bright yellow with a slight haze. Good dusky barrel notes, some egg but it’s not offensive. Lots of white wine notes. A little empty but very clean and drinkable.
