Sweet syrups apples and skins not much to it like an improved version of woodchuck. My wife loves it but I donít really care for it.

Didnít like this one quite as much as the Mad Bark, as it was a bit sweeter and with a bit less complexity, but had a nice apple and honey smell and flavor.

There is a surge in popularity of ciders these days which I think has something to do w/ everyone pretending they have gluten allergies. Maybe I am just a judgmental bitch though, nobody knows. In any case, this one of many alcoholic apple soda type ciders and it is pretty much interchangeable w/ a hundred others. That said, this is pretty tasty stuff and better than most due to a fairly high level of acidity, which helps keep things nice and crisp. For this reason, it is maybe not the best cider to try to impress high school girls but it will still work reasonably well for such ill-advised adventures.

Tap at Groveland Tap. Clear light gold pour with a small white head. Juicy sweet apple juice all over the aroma and taste. Very sweet. But pretty good.

Bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a clear dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of straight aple juice. Taste is is the same. Very sweet and light tart. Medium bodied with a sticky texture. Fizzy carbonation and a very long finish. Overall, not bad. Tone down the sweetness a bit and this would be awesome.

Bottle. Pours a crisp apple juice fizz color with a head that lasts. Taste is very sweet like juice and reminds me of a kid. Not bad if you like this kind of cider

Draft sample. Poured clear amber color with a minimal fizzy head that diminished slowly with little lacing. Medium sweet apple aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet apple flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beverage.

Single from NBD. Point doesnít make the worst beer int he world, so this shouldnít be too bad. First ingredient is... "Cider Base". ŅQue?

Unatural, beer-like, rich, tall, lather head. Clear, golden bronze body. Active body.
Smell is forced. Red & green artificial apple candy. Maybe some melon & strawberry candy essence too. Half a cup of sugar, a touch caramelized or syrupy. Medicinal even. A bit too much extra acid.
Taste is all about candied & sour apple flavor. Melon & lemon. Some cardboard near the end.
Syrupy feel, acidic, heavily carbonated.

Such a sugar headache...

. I donít have any complaints! Great cider. Iíve tried many of the popular ciders Magners, Strongbow, Harppon, Woodchuck, Crispin, Angry Orchard, etc. This is the best Iíve had. Harpoon, then Strongbow, then Apple Orchard follow. This cider has more carbonation and produces more of a head than other ciders. There is not a ton of carbonation but more than the others Iíve tried. It is best to not pour a cider like you would a beer but just pour it straight down so it agitates and produces a little foam too. Thatís how to get the best flavor. This cider has great flavor. Iím really glad I picked it up and gave it a try. I would compare it to Harpoon or Strongbow the most. It has a very similar taste but Iíd say itís sweeter (more flavor) and more carbonation. This also has 5% alcohol percentage so it gets the edge for me. I wanted to sign up to review this because I was searching for reviews when I was in the store and I know itís fairly new. Enjoy!

On tap @ the ‹ber Tap Room in the Wisconsin Cheese Shop, Milwaukee. Medium gold, fine carbo. Quite sweet, tart Granny Smith apple character, lightly tart, low corn syrup. Ok.
