Pours a clear, highly effervescent pale gold with a thin white head. Aroma is tart, green apple candy, read apple sweeness, hints of vanilla and fruity yeast. Flavor is more sweet and candy-like in flavor up front, but with a tart, Granny Smith and more well rounded Red Delicious-like sweetness in the middle, finish tastes like tart and sweet apple skins. The overall sweeness belies the tart, lightly acidic, nicely dry feel thoughout, well mingles to a sharp, but light and blanketing carbonation. Pretty nice all around. One

Non Beer Trip Beer Trip Beer #53. Keg in the hotel bar, 3/10/16. Slightly hazy golden, large creamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of sweet apples, apple juice. The taste is sweet apple juice. Thin bodied, overly sweet.

Bottle. Pours a clear light yellow gold with a bubbly white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of sweet sugary apple with a bit of a light bitterness underlying. Flavor is similarly sweet with apple and has just a light bite towards the finish.

Tap at Capital Brewing in Middleton, WI. Sparkling white grape juice color. Green apple Jolly Rancher nose. Taste is the same: green apple artificial soda, Jolly Rancher, good acid, quenching, high soda level carbonation. Not my style for cider but no offensive.

Tallahassee, Fl - AB Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, slight haze, no head. Slight sourness to the aroma, not as apple-like as some ciders. Flavor is pleasantly sweet, some golden delicious apples, a touch of vanilla, hint of light spiciness. Crisp mouthfeel.

Not a particularly great cider. I little too sweet for me. Lots of apple juice character.

Smells and tastes like really good sparkling apple cider. I can’t believe there is even alcohol in this. Really sweet and heavy on the apple flavor. Medium body with a refreshing carbonation.

On tap at Bigby’s Pour House in Addison, IL. and shaker served, showing a hazed, light gold, almost straw color, with a presentable layer of white head foam, and spotty lacing. The nose was tart and fresh apple scent, slightly grassy, with a touch of sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with decent spritz to the carbonation, the taste was similar notes, sweet, yet lightly dry on the finish, which gave it a bit of British cider character. Basic, flavorful cider.

This is the best sweet cider out there. I’m a big fan, especially First Press. Hard to find but worth the effort.
