From polycask at Great British Beer Festival, day 3, on 4 August 2011. Gold/amber colour. Quite fruity aroma with a slightly "rubbery" character. Fairly dry on the palate with modest tannins and moderate acidity. Slightly thin mouthfeel. Overall impression is a little austere. Decent enough.

At the Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, 30/7/2011. Amber with a trace of carbonation. Decent apple fruits, with a hint of wood and caramel sweetness, leading to a medium dry finish. Fine.
