3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Mini bottle from the cidery. Is a deep, warm amber with copper highlights. Meaty, rich, juicy apple and apple sauce aroma that suggests a balance of sweetness and natural acidity. The palate proves this to be true, as the flavors bloom with luscious fruits fresh from the orchard, leaving a their characteristic stamp on the rear of the palate. The acidity level is brilliant. Too bad we didn’t buy more.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
clear light golden pour. sticky legs. fresh red apples, their skins along with their astringency, juiciness - also sweetened and dried apricots, hint of tartness, nice caramel layer, brown sugar, hint of maple, chalk. flat carbonation as expected, medium body - oily, sweet and lightly tart finish. good balance acidity/sweetness. again, a textbook concoction - although not really linear. it is tasty and nicely crafted.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Purchased at the cidery on Ile d’Orleans. Amber, with a little bit of brown. Has some nice legs. The aroma is rich apple and light brown sugar. The palate is sweet-tart, with subtle brown sugar notes and apple skins. Just enough sugar to pull that tartness together.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
375 ml bottle purchased at the Cider House Verger Bilodeau, September 25th 2009. Honey blonde, a little trace. Aroma of sour apples, a little sweet. Taste a little sour but easy to drink, on the other hand it has notes of apple vinegar. Other then the vinaige taste is good but nothing original!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear dulled medium yellow. No legs. Kinda woody, very honeyed nose with rather simplistic apple flavours. Kinda fleshy with its yellow apple nuances, though never juicy. Drier than most, despite a certain gumminess, like they had incorporated lots of appleskin for there is a certain tannic component. Moderately vigorous acidity sometimes of the acetic type. Short finish. A bit under average, though more versatility than your usual ice cider thanks to its pushed up acidity that makes it more table wine like. Thanks Martin.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(375ml bottle) Purchased at Marche des Saveurs at Jean Talon Market in Montreal, Quebec, for $15.65. A very MacIntosh nose is strong nectar. Dry, white wine flavour with a mildly sour vinegar flavour. Thin and lacking viscosity. This is a fairly low-end ice cider.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A watery yellow gown presents a mild sweet/tart and slightly lactic apple aroma...Body is a little thin for an ice cider, but a decent sweetness lingers, trailing off into a dry and short finish...Apple skin tartness flies high amidst the sweetness to sometimes dominate a sip, but always to linger into the aftertaste...A presence of natural carbonation is also not common for the style which is usually very still...The first half is mostly honeyed apple sweetness, but all finishes in that dry simplicity...Between the cleanest, daily white wines and the biggest ice ciders...
