Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a cloudy golden with a rough white head. Sweet overripe apple aroma. Light body, actually the carbonation is a little low, sweet apple and brown sugar. Finish is a little dusty. A subtle and frindly wee cider. 180211

ComradeK (526) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - OCT 23, 2010
750ml bottle. Pours a clear straw gold, with much froth and bubble. The aroma is amazingly inviting, with some musky notes, apple skin and a hint of cane sugar. Initially, there is a mix of apple skin and oaked white wine, with the most amazing sweet and fruity burst of apple in the middle, and a hit of cinnamon in the finish. Throughout, it is crisp and fresh on the palate, not cloying like many sweeter ciders. This is an absolute revelation, and a ludicrously excellent cider.

750ml bottle (Rimi, Tallinn)
Once the cage was off, this popped its cork all of its own accord! Amazingly appley aroma. Not that sugary chemical crap is mass-market ciders, but real crisp apples. Rather pale in complexion, and fizzy. Crisp carbonation in the mouth, a touch sweet too, but with tons of apple ester retronasals, and a touch of woodiness too. Astounding that this is only 2%, it’s so packed full of flavour. Perhaps a little sweet for a high quality French cider, but it’s still refreshing and of course it’s nowhere near as sweet as any macro crap. Well done Anneville!
