Pouring at the Mondial. Pours a clear gold. Tannins and apple sauce on the nose. Cool apples, more apple than sweetness. Caramel and toffee. Very nice, soft acidity on the finish.

Sampled from the bottle. Poured a clear golden yellow with no head whatsoever. Aroma was full of very sweet apples with a candied apple note. Flavor was extremely sweet with sugar, apples and candied apples. Too sweet for me.

50ml bottle. Good god, the aroma on this is horrid. Smells like habenero peppers, drain cleaner, bay leaf, salt.. basically nothing you want in an ice cider at all. Flavor is disgustingly sweet, pure sugar, with zero acidity to balance things out. This is going straight down the drain.

Pours copper and still. Smells of apple juice, some spicy hints, touches of honey. Tastes like concentrated, sweet apple juice (like the apple juice containers your mom used to pack in your lunch when you were a kid) with some spicy hints.

A dark golden viscous cider with a sweet chalky aroma, light cooked apples. In mouth, thinner than expected, sweet apple juice, not bad but not a winner. Tasted at Mondial des Cidres de Glaces, Feb. 13, 2010.

Bu à leur cidrerie, en échantillon. Jaune foncé typique. Arome mi sucré de pomme assé simple. Goût un peu sucré, faible sensation de pomme dans le goût.

A dark orange cider with a very sweet aroma strong with apples. The flavor is very smooth and with strong notes of apples. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

Bottle at the cidrerieSweet, strong, tart, acidic. Tasty but so generic to the region, it doesn’t have any life. I’m really disliking this style of cider.

Dark gold, still. Firm mcintosh nose, sweet and leafy. Extremely sweet palate, caramelized apples meet bread crust to make a desserty concoction. No balancing acidity whatsoever and not very complex, but the mellowed alcohol trace are well integrated. Still syrupy palate, cloying rapidly.
