Light yellow, clear. Dry vinous nose reminds of apple skin most of all, but asks for heavy sniffing to get anything out. Pretty flavourful apples hit the palate up thanks to an excellent acid backbone like apples that are too young. Very good balance, dry palate, slightly nutty. Good stuff.

Minor apples in the aroma. Slightly crisp. Very pale. Still. Unappealing. Flavour is dry with only light fruit apparent. Slight puckering mouthfeel. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004).

(Bottle) Mondial de la Bière 2004. Clear, light yellow body. Nose of plain apple juice? Tart, slight alcohol flavour. Very boring and unimaginative. Sour finish.
