bubbly pale yellow, 7-up like, apples are mellow, floral edges. Dry powdery and rocky palate. Short-lasting taste, watery feel, light flavors. Not very biting carbonation, light bodied.

Sampled from the bottle. Poured a clear pale yellow with visible carbonation. Aroma was a bit weak with some sweet apples and a hint of tartness. Flavor was similarly weak with a bit of sweet apples and a hint of tartness but left much to be desired.

A light yellow cider - very bubbly. The aroma is plainly apple juice. The flavor is woody and earthy combined with the apples, leading to a very dry end. The body seems thin because of the high carbonation.

Bottle at the cidrerieClear beige, some funky tart apple notes. Funky, unique but not very complex and very, very high acidity and very dry on the tongue.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUL 25, 2005
Sample at the ciderhouse, RBSG Sunday cider tour. Sparkly, bubbly light gold, almost clear...very light vanilla along with crisp apples in the nose...body effervescent but rather watery, heavy tingly carbonation overawing the clean pleasant fruitiness...finish very short, dry and almost nonexistant. Disappointing, I was hoping for more from one of the rare sparklers on this tour.

07.10.05 Bottle, RBSG tour. We paid a loony each for this one and I’m glad I did because I almost bought a whole bottle. Light, dry, crisp. Mild sweat. Alcohol is surprisingly hidden behind ample eff, so is the apple. Bland stuff.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 argo0 (9226) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 14, 2005
(RBSG05) Bubbly light pear juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, apple, and not much else. Taste is medium sweet, apple, mineral water, decent crispness. Light effervescent body. The apple is too understated for me -- may be great to the discerning fan of cider, but not for me.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 CaptainCougar (6834) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 13, 2005
Lively sparkling champaign color with large bubbles of CO2. Very subtle, lightly tart aroma is too mild for my liking. Body is dry and lightly effervescent, but bitter and semi-tart. Could definitely use some more sweetness, something, at least, to counteract the bitterness and tartness of the carbonation.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2005 Fairly tart and dry apple aroma. Lightly hazy pear coloured with strong visible carbonation. Strong carbonated apple juice. Refreshing palate. A drink to toast with. Apple Champagne. Bottle (sampled at Mondial 2004). Resampled at the orchard tasting room at RBSG’05.
