Commercial Description:
Strong aperitif cider with 16% alcohol. Resulting from an assortment of apples. Délicieuse, McIntosh and old varieties, fortified with alcohol, this gentle cider presents complex apple and honey aromas with a distinctive golden robe. Aperitif cider both thirst-quenching and pleasant. To be served cold, between 4 and 6 C.

(Rating #1758)

An orange cider with a very pure apple aroma. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of apples, but also with so strong an alcohol presence that it burns the throat. The mouthfeel is like drinking the sugar water used to preserve pears. Too strong for my liking.

Bottle at the cidrerieLight yellow, nose of sherp strong alcohol and prunes. The flavor is also stong, sweet and rich with alcohol and excess sugars.

Still, golden. Very powder sugar sweet, slightly floral, heavily alcoholic. Oldish apple taste, more alcohol flavors throughout, direct mcintosh, not overwhelming. You can separate alcohol parts from the rest. Syrupy, extremely sweet medium body.

Sample at the ciderhouse, RBSG Sunday cider tour. Medium-dark cider-amber-gold color, WTF they all look the same basically...strong pear presence in the nose along with whiskeyish baked apples...sweet, sweet body with burning alcohol entering late...lightly sticky mouthfeel.
