COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Young cider with brilliant clarity. Fruity with a dominant apple fragrance. The harmony of flavors are enhanced by a hint of acidity. Sublime! Excellent companion to canapés, light cheese and fresh fruit.

(750ml bottle) This cider is definitely has one of the more acidic noses of the Jodoin line-up. Also, the appearance is is very apple juice-blah. Very tart and acidic taste, dry white wine and... Yikes, iodine and plastic also come to mind. Much like Paris Hilton - this cider is too tart and therefore undesireable. I even added a tablespoon of sugar to offset the tartness; GAWD! This is awful. I’ve seen better from you Michel!!! If you do not first succeed - try, try again.

20080920 750ml bottle dated May 08. Pale golden color for this still cider, gives an appearance it the glass of a pale chardonnay. Aroma is nice fresh apple with light background must notes. Certainly McIntosh throughout with bracing tartness and a good bit of astringency. Fairly thin and wine-like, not sweet, quick finish. It went nicely with veal sausage and Dijon mustard. I think this cider does well what Jodoin intended.

From a bottle purchased in Montreal. The body was pale yellow with a vinous nose. There were some floral notes with some mild apples. The taste was crisp with some dry vinous character. This was tart with a hint of sour apples. Nice dry finish. I like this one.

Tart, dry, appleskins and light farmhouse character to the nose. Clear, pale, still, juice-like appearance. Tart apple flavours up front are replaced by pleasant brown sugar roundness in the mouth. Light hints of alcohol appear in the very finish. Sweet, wine-like fullness in the mouth. Quite enjoyable. Cider glass, just above fridge temp. Bottle purchased at the orchard on the RBSG-05 cider tour.

Pours a pale gold color with almost no bubbles. Decent aroma of fresh apples. Mediocre flavor of apples, very tart and sweet, flat mouthfeel. I really don’t like the flat feeling I get from this cider, I definitely prefer more bubbly ciders. This one is definitely a let down.

750 ml bottle, purchased in Montreal. Clear light apple juice, no bubbling to speak of. Very, very light, simple, sweet apple nose. Light, sweet flavor, hint of acidity and metallic bitterness at the end, just a touch of sourness. Watery and bland. Avoid.
