puzzl (1820), New York, New York, USA Jul 7, 2008 Bottled. This is a funny cider, as it is called ICE and comes in a clear bottle and seems pretty marketed towards teens or whatever, yet it is 12%. However, I didn’t see it anywhere but at the cidery itself, so who knows. But at 12% this one really kicks your ass. Pour is very pale yellow with little fizz and no "head". Aroma is hard apples and booze. Nice soft fizzyness in the taste with a bit of oxidized apple, however the alcohol is over bearing. Regardless of the abv though I still found this rather interesting to drink.
Enniskillen (1589), Port Angeles, Washington, USA Mar 26, 2008 Thanks to puzzl for this cider, much thanks! Nice gold color. Aroma is white wine, granny smith apples, vinegar, light alcohol. Taste is pretty boozy, apple in the background, but mainly booze. Light fizziness in the body. This would get you drunk.
