[3853-20110802] 330mL bottle. Fresh Macintosh apple flesh aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with a quick bubbly white head. Tart apple juice flavour has a lingering apple skin notes. Light-medium body has a dry finish. Nicer as it warms, more of the apple comes out. (7/2/6/3/12) 3.0

Pale straw colour with a lot of large carbonation. Light apple aroma with a nice dry aroma with a lot of lovely apple character. Soft and a little bit tart as well. Very nice light aroma with a touch of soft apple skin. Soft and tart although as it warms, the tartness fades back and there is a touch more apple sweetness on the back. Pretty solid dry sparkling cider.

Pours with modest head that’s gone quite quick, has a modest bright gold champagne look to it. Aroma of goat cheese and slight apple hints. Flavour is a very dry cider with soft wood and apple hints. This is excellent.

Pours a very clear light yellow colour. Aroma is a very light apple and alcohol. Taste is again very light apple and wine. Dry finish. Not bad for sipping but not a top cider.

Bottle. Pours a clear light straw yellow. Clean sweet apple aromas, champagne yeast. Starts light and sweet and delicate. Finishes with a lovely tartness and lactic acidity that lingers long afterwards. Really delicious. The guy at Peluso’s where I bought it recommended mixing it half and half with Dieu du Ciel’s Rose Hibiscus. Tried that after having it by itself, and while I really liked the DdC beer, and this cider… I found them better separate. I don’t get the low reviews on this one… it’s quite tasty, and has a really nice acidity that a lot of (especially the slightly more commercial (but still not large)) American ciders just don’t have.
