Well its honey beer. So it will probably not be an allrounf-for-everybody one. But its tasty. Sweet, because of the honey, very light in the taste. Perhaps the next favorite beer of your girlfriend? ;) Definately worth trying.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2012 Lived in Poland for 4 years. At the end this was one of the few beers I remember. Had a village beer shop down the road from the dorm. 500mL bottles cost 3 zÅ‚oty about a 1 USD. You could smell the sweetness once you opened the. Going down it was a honey laced and smooth, not too heavy. The perfect summer beer but you can’t drink too many, on the sweeter side.

*** POLISH BEER # 100 *** bottle from my friend Monika - bardzo dziekuje. Hazy deep golden colour, large off-white head. Aroma of honey. Full-bodied, grainy malty, biscuity with lots of honey. Quite sweet but still good. Shy hoppy touch in the finish. And yet another nice honey beer from Poland.

Quite a jasny honey beer, delicate honey presence in the aroma. Very nice. Still fatiguing sweetness in the flavor but with some hay and spicy hop presence detectable. Also a little flat.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ElDesmadre (474) - Mikołów, POLAND - JUN 17, 2011
Bottle. Hazy light golden, head disappears quickly. Low carbonation but that varies from bottle to bottle. Aroma is sweet - some breadiness topped off by a truckload of propolis-smelling honey. Taste is sweet, almost no bitterness, at points the malt manages to acknowledge its existence through the honey coating that otherwise takes possession of the whole mouth. One-dimensional and sweet but it’s still quite good. Especially for a honey beer.

Bottle, 5.7% ABV version. Hazy yellow, white head. strong spicy honey aroma. Sweet and spicy honey flavours. Lacks a bitter balance, though the honey itself is not bad (would never dream of finishing the whole bottle, though).
