Served from on tap at the Stone 16th Anniversary Celebration. The appearance is a nice brown black hue. Not too much head. The flavors and aromas are exactly as advertised. Loads of chocolate covered peanut butter cups. The peanut butter is the most pronounced with a nice dose of malted chocolate balls. It tasted great but not a flavor profile I could do a lot of.

"This beer is the shit! Returned to more than any other amongst some amazing brews in the rare beer tasting at Stone 16. Peanut butter cups and milk duds all the way, smells and tastes so good you don’t even know it’s in the neighborhood of 10%. Please bottle this!"

From notes, consumed on 3/25/13 at ChurchKey during CBC Week. Draft poured into a tasting snifter. Pours black with light tan head. Decent lacing. Aromas of dark chocolate, caramel, toffee. Tasting notes of chocolate, caramel, toffee, booze. Pretty sweet. Creamy mouthfeel. Medium body with a semi-dry finish.

Dark brown pour, small and light brown head. Flavors are all over the place. Some sweet malts, a hint of spice, chocolate, fruit, toffee. Enjoyable and fun to dissect.

I expected to hate this beer. But I definitely did not. It’s a thick black thing that smells like chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and oak... the last maybe an impression from the vanilla. A sweetish brew with just a touch of savory, like lightly salted pretzels coated in dark chocolate, mashed up and moistened with bourbon. Would be difficult to drink 12 ounces, but easy to share it.

Had at Hunahpu. Didn't read much up on this until after I got it. Literally pure liquid peanut butter. Can't drink much of it, but it was great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft on tap at Hunahpus Day 2013 (Tampa, FL). Pours a deeper brownish hue, darker with good opaque look. Darker and a frothy tannish head atop laces well, frothy film good lacing. Aromas are cocoa, some raisins and chocolate, toffee and gentlr dark fruit. Brown malts, some molasses, earth. Initial is thicker and full, big brown malts, sticky caramel, toffee, and nuttiness. Some dark fruit, vanillan a sweeter big Brown Ale with lots of sticky toffee, toast, and biscuits. Some cocoa, gentle molasses, vanilla. Some toffee, sticky malts, nuts and milk duds. Big and girthy into the middle and backend, sticky vanilla, toffee, and toast. Some vanilla,s ticky caramel. Great look to it, a bit toasty and biscuity up front. Really sweet as we move on. Fun, a bit sweet for me.

Draft at Hunaphu Day. Deep bron pour with a tan head. Nose is peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, salty peanuts, heavy cream and licorice. Flavor is pretty similar with a salty peanut butter in the end. Medium heavy bodied with no noticeable booze. Solid beer.

Draft at cigar city during hunahpu day with Andrew and Maggi. First draft I the day. Pours a deep brownish black with thick brown lacing. Aroma is chocolate covered peanuts and sweet chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium to creamy with notes of rich chocolate, peanuts, granola, light roast, Reese’s pieces, and peanut butter girl scout cookies. Awesome.

Ccb hunahpu day on tap. Smells like peanut butter and cognac. Poor is dark with a thick white head. The first thing I tasted was grape jelly. Reminds me of the pre packaged pbjs I got as a kid but with a nuttrr butter cookie finish. Thick and scrumptious.
