Cigar City / Green Bench Sgt. Pfeffer Brown Ale seems to be a beer that was designed for the occasional beerdrinker instead of the aficionado. Light malt aroma coming from a dark pour with a thin head. Sweet malty taste; not much complexity. Sgt. Pfeffer Brown is an average beer that might be a good introduction to craft beer for the macro drinker.

Pours a translucent brown on tap with thin ring of lacy head. Aroma is instantly Belgian yeast with peppery and fruity esters, a slight hint of toast. Taste follows, with an interesting dry finish. Odd, but worth a try if you can find it.
