COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An imperial sweet stout brewed with cherries and cacao nibs, which is then aged in bourbon barrels. This beer is brewed in collaboration with Mikkeller our generous friend from Copenhagen, Denmark. What you have here is a modest attempt to emulate the experience of biting into a chocolate-covered cherry candy. We hope you enjoy it but you never know what youíre gonna get.

Bottle, big thanks to Paul Unwin. It pours near black with a small tan head. The nose is soft roast, cocoa, Black Forest gateaux, vanilla, toasted coconut, ripe cherry, wood and bourbon. The taste is smooth, cherry, smooth roast, toast, wood, sticky sweetness, Black Forest gateaux, salted caramel, liquorice, cherry, chocolate, coconut and mild acidity with a dry finish. Full body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Rich, smooth, balanced and very drinkable indeed. A very tasty offering from CCB.

Paul. You are a fucking legend. Goddamn this beer is luxurious. Quite sweet but I like it. Velvet smooth milk chocolate on the nose followers by a light spice - good dose of peppers in there. Almost Black Forest cake like with heavy cream notes and black cherries. So much going on. Bourbon is always in check. Absolutely perfect stuff. Sweet vanilla beans and milk chocolate coated cherries, light chilli, smooth cream, custard like, white chocolate covered raisins, red cherry. Light tart behind the overwhelming vanilla and spice. Bourbon is superbly balanced. It has bitterness and sweetness all rolled into an unbelievably big but balanced beer. One of the best beers Iíve ever had. Absolutely perfect

75cl bottle at the Kernel, Paul tasting. Huge thanks to Paul for this gem! It pours deep deep brown with a large mocha head. This beer is so thick is really stains the glass with a brown coating when swirling. Arab is huge, sweet and amazing. Big cherries, big chocolate, big bourbon. Taste is sweet with loads of cherries, bourbon and chocolate. Mouthfeel is thick with medium carbonation. Simply outstanding.

Bottle- pitch black with thick brown head. Truly rich aroma, heavy on bourbon, red fruit, tobacco, moccha. This is embedded in a nice wood-aged taste, yet in a delicate way. Aftertaste is brilliant and slowly changes from warm and alcoholic too dry and bitter

That typical CCB imperial stout pour, sludgy and thick. Black in color with a brown head that has red outlines. Nose is sweet chocolate, cherry, vanilla and bourbon. Big chewy mouthfeel and taste follows the nose . Cherry , chocolate, Bourbon Damn good.

Black syrupy pour seeps from the bottle. Blackened malts, cherry chocolate, boozy warmth massages my throat. Nails the chocolate covered cherry goal.

You canít get much better than this beer. Poured into a snifter pours dark black. Right away you can smell the bourbon and cherries. When it was cold the bourbon takes over. Warmed up it is much better. The cherries come out and thus beer is more amazing. I canít say enough. Find it and drink it!
