[ Trade by GAManiac ]. Clear dark dark black color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully to mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, wood - oak, alcohol. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, licorice, dark dried fruit, chocolate, cedder wood, tobacco. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcohol. Damm this is a good beer IMO >;O) [20110312]

Pitch black coloureed with a small beige ehad.
Sweet and roasted aroma of dark chocolate and cocoa powder with notes of dark chocolate.
Roasted flavour of dark chocolate and cocoa powder with notes of oa, cedar and liquorice.
Roasted finish.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, Feb. 2011. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is roasted malts, coffee and lots of liquorice. Heavy roasted flavor with hints of ashes and dark fruit. Sticky, oily and almost syrupy. One heavy brother.

Bottle at home with TimE... deep black ... medium size brown foam head ... big rich toffe and roast malt nose ... big bold roast malt ... quite a bit of coffee but too much hop for me ...a bit yeti in that respect ... little licorice ... little treacle ... nice but the hops too much for me.

Botella huge thanks to Plovamand and congrats on the 2000 ratings! Pitch black mama Africa colour with a nice medium creamu darl brown head leaving a good lacing. Lots of roasted malt with dark fruits, alcohol, good chocolate, some smoke and liqourice. Good filling mouthfeel indeed. Lovely roasted maltiness with chocolate, a good bitterness, alcohol, dark fruits, good liqourice and smoke. Long lasting roasted maltiness in the finish with chocolate and dark fruits. Yummey indeed.
