750 thanks to MikeLuke23. Big caramel and toffee notes. Beer pours very nicely with a solid head. Taste sustains itself throughout. Very enjoyable.

Rich heavy pour. Aroma is sweet, lots of caramel malts ans fruit syrup sweetness and a light hop aspect. Flavor is very similar. Light citrus hops with loots of sweetness and some alcohol. Some raisin and caramel on the finish.

Bottle with Pat, Matt, and some other chill heads. Pours murky purple brown color. Aromas of plum, grapes, roasty mollasses, candy sugar, pine. Hoppy amber notes up front followed by a sticky, grape filled, belgian ale. Some faint wood, maybe cedar?

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2012 Bottle with Vinny, Matt Capone, and others. Pours hazy amber with a tan, fuzzy ring of lacy head. Aroma of raisins, cherry, biscuity malts, maple syrup, and slight dry wood. Tastes like a raisiny, cherry bourbon. Slightly sour and boozy in the finish. Decent beer, but could benefit from some restraint. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at the TURD tasting. Pours amber brown with a beige head. Sweet and toasty malty aroma with floral hops. The flavor has toffee and caramel sweetness, toasted malts, and floral hops. Average.

jredmond (2820) - Manhattan, New York, USA - APR 25, 2012
Bottle shared at Max’s for the turd tasting. Pours an amber body with small head. This beer seems a bit unbalanced and all over. Notes of grass, flowers, dark fruits, honey, wood and hops. Still not a bad beer but could benefit from a bit of refining.

Bottle shared at the NY Meet the TURD tasting; thanks yobdoog! Pours a dark amber with creamy beige head. Aroma is fairly one-dimensional of butterscotch. Boozy with lots of butterscotch. Cloying and syrupy. Apparently Imperial Amber = barley wine to induce diabetes.

Dark brown pour with red tint. Earthy and grassy hop tones and malty sweetness. Barleywine?
