Nose full of marzipan and a strong nuttiness. Like artificial nuts. Taste is similar. Also very sweet. Exactly as described. A great dessert beer.

Tap at CCB. From my notes. This beer was fantastic. It really does taste like a almond biscotti. I remember going over to whole foods next door to by biscotti and came back and ate them with the staff. good stuff.

Light amber pour, white head. Flavors of werthers, butterscotch, almonds, brown sugar, cookies. Tastes like a biscotti dipped in a malty beer!

On draft at CCB. Pours a hazy yellow-orange with a white head. Nose is HUGE almonds and almond extract. Flavor has some sweetness and some booze followed by some light malt. The almonds really dominate the aroma. Flavor is some light malt and big almond extract again with some mild booze and sweetness. Interesting take on this beer. Enjoyable, yet intense.

On draft at Cigar City, pours a golden amber color, huge aromas of almond, sugar, and light marshmellos. The aroma is amazing, however not all the aromas translated into the beer. Light almond flavoring followed by the booziness of the batch 69 cream ale. One of the better treatments that I have had of this, but the booziness is still there.

On tap at CCB. Wow, the intense aroma here is spot on. Almonds and powdered sugar. The flavor is a different story. It just doesn’t match at all. Sweet sugary notes upfront with a hit of nuttiness to follow, then lightly bitter finish with a bland, malty body. Strange, but not bad. The aroma is frickin’ awesome though.

This one was interesting - the nose didn’t follow the taste at all. The scent resembled honey roasted nuts and butterscotch lollipops. Flavors were... a tad sweet like honey almonds but quickly went into some fruity hops with undertones of oranges and bitterness. If this was a blind tasting, I’d assume my glasses were switched at some point.

Pours golden amber with no head. Aroma is sick, vanilla almond, cherry and caramel. Sweet and amazing. Taste follows. Tastes like biscotti. So good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nose is purely amazing. Dead on almond biscotti. Big vanilla, biscuit notes, chopped almonds. Flavor is a bit less impressive. Boozey, big almond and vanilla and spices. The sharp booze from 69 really comes through.
