Entering old-rates, Draft @ CCB. Même revue que sa version originale, le tout a une fraîcheur tropicale en plus avec la mandarine rajoutant une note sucrée et orangée. Pointe d’écorce et d’épice. Encore une fois, facile à boire et bien fraîche.

Growler – Shared at Redlight in February 2010. Thanks for sharing fellow RBeerians! Dark hazed amber, thin white creamy head. Big juicy tangerine and dried citric peel aromas ride undercurrents of caramel cream throughout. Bitter tangerine zest and swirls of orange liquor round with a soft vanilla mousse finish. Full bodied, soft carbonation, bitter citric peel finish. All good and quite unique…

aroma is grassy malt, fleeting creamsickle and beginnings of asprin crunch to be appreciated soon later. appearance is ultra hazy tan, good lacing, pockety head. flavor is sour orange with near creamsickle finish. bready malts shine through but off putting asprin end is sickening. i am astounded this is 9% as well.

Hazy golden orange color. Aroma has light hops, orange sweetness. Nice and fruity, juicy tangerines and pulp. Flavor is sweet, fruity, juicy oranges and some hops and cream. A bit of sugar too. Reminds me of a certain gummy candy but more hops. Pretty balanced overall with lots going on.

Growler at DLD. Some of the Tampa guys, tpd975, gunhaver, etc had this with them outside the gate, and I didn’t run into them after FFF let the ravenous hordes into the event, but apparently chswimmer from BA did, as he brought me some of this beer. Thanks to all who aided me in my quest to tick this one off. The color is golden-orange, and a small white head sits on top of the beer. The aroma is full of tangerine, with herbal notes and sweet pale malt in the background. Flavor is also lots of tangerine, fairly sweet, with pale malt, honey, spice, and herbal and grassy hops. Medium-bodied with a smooth mouthfeel and average carbonation level. Overall this is good and drinkable, but I would have liked the tangerine to be a little less overpowering.

32 oz growler courtesy of askofficerfriendly?. Pours a hazy dark golden amber, a small whitish head dies to mere bubbles. Aromas are a heavy whiff of tangerine, caramel, toffee, pale malts, grain bready, faint floral hopping. Initial is lighter bodied, a watery pale malt and bready feel, tangerine oils without the sweetness. Faint, mellow, creamy smooth ale without too much sweetness. Mellow fruit, lighter beer overall, easy going, a bit of a strong alcohol content compared to other beers of it’s flavor profile. Not bad, a little underbodied, the tangerine could use some more strength. But then again, I probably wouldn’t have loved the base beer as it seems a bit boozy for what it offers overall.

Half Growler hand poured from Mr. Ibrew2or3. Big thanks. Pours out a dark crisp golden topped with a small white head Aroma is of floral and sweet citrus hops. Taste is more of the floral notes a little rich malt but over powered by the tangerines. Just happy to try this tap only brew.
