Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Sweet bourbon aroma - more of a port character than anything else. Hazy bron color. A light bourbon character with some oak funk coming through on the finish. Mostly fruity malts in the flavor.

Sample at faux-bab. Dark brown pour, darker than most scotch ales. Taste and aroma are chocolate and scotch. I get a lot of burnt smokey peat malts. Comes off more of a scotch whiskey than bourbon.

Geez, I barely remember tasting this one. Good thing I took notes at the tasting. Brown pour with slight red tint. Nice tan head. Caramel, some mild peat, bourbon on the nose as well as vanilla. Sweeter than the regular version, as is the taste. Good, but I prefer the non barrel-aged version.

Pours a dark brown color with lightly tan colored head. Bourbon, caramel, vanilla, oak, and some dark fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with sweetness, and a bourbon warmth. Very complex.

Bottle provided by Ed Roberts, you rock my friend. The aroma on this was pretty overwhelming. A lot of bourbon and hotness going on here. It smells a lot stronger then it actually this. The flavor is a mix between bourbon, malts and vanilla. Hangs very long on the palate. Could use some aging but still very good.

Sampled at Noogfest High 5. Pours cloudy reddish brown with slight beige head. The aroma is Scotch, caramel, earth, and toffee. The flavor is tobacco, toffee, barrel char, with a tasty earthy finish. A very enjoyable beer.

From notes. This was shared at a tasting put on by @mikem409 on November 7. Poured from a 750 mL bottle. The pour is a dark dark brown, with a little ruby or garnet poking through ad a nice darker head. The aroma is great. There is a lot of big caramel malts and a great vanilla and oak character from the barrel. There is a good lick of bourbon on the back end, which I wasn’t expecting entirely. The flavor is really good. There is a lot of caramel and dark fruits to go along with a solid vanilla character and an excellent woodiness. The mouth feel is decently thick and the carbonation had dissipated a bit. There is a boozy heat that really comes through on the back end. The aftertaste is solid. Caramel and dried fruit with just a touch of chocolate and the booze. Really good.

Hazy brown, medium sized beige head. Aroma is roast caramel malt and oak. Smooth rich caramel flavor with a burnt finish.

Bottle care of Bruce at his B’day.Dark brown, murky, tan head. Nose is lots and lots of vanilla, lots and lots of lactic milkiness, creamy, oaky, old wood, bourbon sweetness. Taste is very soft. Creamy, lactic, milky, vanilla, bourbon sweet and sourness. Mainly just soft sweetness and lots of vanilla and creaminess. It’s not overwhelming like some bourbon aged stuff but it is sweet.
