| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Sep 19, 2009 750ml bottle thanks to hopscotch! pours a very deep brown with a nice thick light tan head... nice lively carbonation on a swirl... sweet sharp malt aromas with some apple and a touch of coffee.. medium to light body... feels a bit thin on the bottom of the mouth, while up front it carries most of the flavors and feeling... some light hidden cherry notes are surrounded by big sweet malts with toffee and almost sour fruit. really nice blend... this finishes well with all of the above culminating nicely.... while leaving a bit of spice...
