Really hoppy for a brown. If I was not looking at the beer when I tasted it, I might have guessed IPA. Sweet fruitiness, grapes, citrus. Not much earthiness.

Draft. Very dark clear brown, tan head, solid lacing. Aroma of prunes and almonds. Taste of Irish soda bread.

Draft. Clear dark brown body, beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, some caramel, orange. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, some orange/grapefruit. Soft light-medium body, light stickiness.

On tap at Tapestry for Cigar City/Funky Buddha. Notes were woody, slightly ryed out, caramel, sweetness. Not that memorable.

Tap at Cervezas, Miami. It pours cloudy deep brown, with a thick beige head. The nose is roasted malt, coffee, nut and charcoal. The taste is roasted malt, charcoal, leather, coffee, high bitterness, bitter chocolate, smoke and nut, with a long dry finish. Medium body and high, prickly carbonation. A solid beer, but pretty damn dry.

Pours a clear dark brown on tap with a good tan head and nice lacing. Aroma of coffee and roasted malts, taste follows suit. Maduro is better, but it’s a good brown.

On draft at Tryst in Delray. This was a very typical brown ale. Nutty aromas with subtle dry chocolate flavors. Nothing over the top or crazy going on here, just a good staple for this style.

Draft at rattle with Andrew and streets. Pours a deep, hazy brown with white lacing. Aroma is light nut, and fresh hop. Mouthfeel is medium with A much stronger hop presence than anticipated. Nice.

Draft at the brewery. Hazy brown pour with a thick off white/tan head. Burnt caramel malt and noble hop aroma. Dry malt body with a big earthy hop bitterness. Nice session ale.
