75cl, new exclusive American brew Anno 2013, thx to Secret Santa!, very complex sweet Stout, roasted/sweet and slightly fruity/bitter, very balanced, hazy, rocky head, top class!, yet expensive!

Bottle, thanks Adam. Pours pitch black with khaki head. Very nice aroma of dark malts, coffee, and cocoa powder. Medium body, with a nice coffee based backbone and a dry cocoa powder finish. Nice clean flavors, and a mouthfeel pushing some borderline floral notes. I love this because it packs the flavors of a much bigger beer into a drinkable package. Awesome

bottle shared by Bill on NYE, been wanting to try this one bad, thanks for sharing meh. Aroma and flavor is ultra rich espresso or coffee bean, dark chocolate, barrel roast, lactose, and green pepper. This one reminded me of a good de molen with an easier going, less sticky body. My favorite brew of the night besides that batch 2 duck, duck. Cheers

Good beer with a character of cereal, oats, light cocoa, and coffee. Lacks the amount of richness I expected and a bit watery. Overall its pleasant and easily drinkable but doesnt stand out.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Mike! Big, oily, viscous looking pour, completely black with a slowly rising, thick, mocha creme head that lasts forever. Aroma includes lovely notes of oily coffee beans, deep roasted barley, & subtle bittersweet chocolate morsels. Good compliments between the coffee & chocolate notes. Taste is full of sticky coffee beans... high quality brew, nice French roast or something. Starts as a darker, more bitter coffee flavor but transcends into a finish with a touch of milky, creamy sweetness for balance. Finish shows some cocoa nibs & very faint dark fruits. Somewhat woodsy feeling in the aftertaste, too. Nice creamy mouth feel... Great coffee stout - Cigar City knows what they’re doing.

Bottle sent from Matt. Thanks! Shared. A: Huge mocha head. Pitch black with good lacing. N": Coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and cherries. Big bourbon presence. T: Big espresso bitterness with a nice underpinning of sweetness. A little sourness? M: BIg carbonation which detracts from the mouthfeel. O: A very good beer, that’s a touch overly carbonated. I would drink it soon, because I’m a touch worried about bad bugs.

Bottle thanks to Luke, cheers! Pours a pure black color with a large off-white head. A light chocolate nose, vanilla, coffee. The flavor is cocoa, lactose, vanilla, big peppers which certainly comes from the coffee, some roasted coffee, roasted malts. Quite smooth, light and tasty.

Bottle in a trade from olr1984. Pours a deep black with a brown head. Super foamy. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Tastes more of chocolate. Bitter bite but the chocolate sweetness comes through. Medium body

Pours a dark brown with a milk chocolate head and (missing notes). Aroma is disturbing with loads of green peppers and cold coffee. Taste was roasty and more green pepper covering some shy chocolatey notes. Carbonation was a touch too high, also. I didn’t get much enjoyment from this one. It was OK at best.
