UPDATED: AUG 21, 2013 Bottle @ Milan-PSV warm up. Thanks to Hallinghansen. Pours black with a creamy beige head and lacings. Nose is simply just amazing. Freshest and nicest coffee profile and a bit of tobacco. Flavor has coffee, tobacco and chocolate. It is so smooth and silky that it’s impossible to describe. One of the best coffee beers ive had. This is a crazy moment. The sun is setting, looking out the window, waiting for a great soccer match on TV, listening to CV Jørgensen (I det muntre hjørne) and vaguely hearing my newly born son making noises in the next room. Without sounding too clichee-ish - life is good!

Bottle shared in NH with AJ - cheers amigo. Pours deep, brown-black with a creamy, beige head. Rich coffee on the nose with secondary notes of milk chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with decadent chocolate cake, milky coffee, moderate roasted malts. Medium to full bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with good chocolate character, more coffee, light roasted malts, some bittersweet baking cocoa. Good, rich.

(Batch 1) Draft... This beer rocks!… Pitch black pour with a creamy, mid-sized, beige head. The aromatic highlights are blackberries, blueberries, burnt mocha and caramel. Full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. The flavor furnishes a boatload of deep-roasted, acrid espresso, accompanied by an equally huge component of dark chocolate. Finishes burnt and carbonic, followed by a kiss of caramel. World class effort from the boys at the Brewpub!

Very dark brown pour, nice brown head. The flavor is amazing. On the nose it smells of a huge coffee bomb. But the flavor bring forth a sweet maple syrup note, chocolate and the coffee. Really an awesome beer.

Bottle @ Steve’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. A bit murky deep brown appearance with a dark brown head. Big bitter coffee, very earthy, dark chocolate, very roasty, a bit milky aroma. Lightly fruity, cherry, chocolate, roasty malty, coffee, slightly bitter, earthy flavor. OK but kind of disappointing.

750mL thanks to BSchnab! Clear, deep brown pour with lower foam. Super rich hazelnut nose, spicy coffee. Taste is lemon, thicker hazelnut coffee, some chocolate, Starbucks ground coffee. Not thin or acidic. Extremely rich coffee centric. Coffee drinkers rejoice. My wife gave it a 3.3
