Growler... Pours lightly hazed and black with a small, creamy, beige head. Decent retention. The aroma is rich, spicy and sweet - more like gingerbread, yellow cake batter and graham than anything else. No maple syrup here. Medium to full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet gingerbread and heavily spiced. Minerals and winter spices in the finish. Poured a murky brown color with aromas of light cake and tons of maple. Flavors were light cake and a nice maple finish. A solid beer that was a nice surprise.
