Keg @ Cigar City Brewpub during RBWG. Brown pour with a tiny off-white head. Nose incorporates toffee and brown bread toast. Some rich espresso and Cows Tails candies. Nicely balanced flavor. Chocolate glazed donut. Nutty toasted malt. Mild bitter ashiness. Smooth and easy to drink.

Taste at the brewpub during RBSG. Dark brown red color, kind of clear. Thin ring of off-white head, some bits of lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft, lighter carbonation. Light slick. Nice portery dark fruit, toasty, dark chocolate. Light slick. Good chewiness. Moderate to bigger sweet taste, light bitter. Very tasty solid porter. Oh, this is a brown ale? Tastes quite portery. Not a bad thing.

Draft at the CCB brewpub during RBWG 2015. Pours Clear deep brown with a creamy tan head. The nose holds tangy dark malts, vague fruits. Medium sweet a or, richly toasted make, some cocoa, burnt toffee, dried dark fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with notes of scorched earth, leaves, leathery dark fruits. Solid.
