Solid, but unremarkable brown ale. Clearish brown pour. Nutty, sweet, and smooth. Easy drinking, but not too much fun.

Draft... This beer rocks!… Pitch black pour with a large, frothy, lightly-tanned head that diminishes to a small, tight, khaki cap. The nutty, milk chocolate nose is accompanied by undercurrents of vanilla and coffee. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with tingly carbonation. Chocolaty, roasty, semi-sweet flavor and finish with a slow-to-fade aftertaste. Surprisingly brilliant!

Draft - Molasses and roast malts. Jet black with a rich brown head. Nuts and chocolate with a bit of molasses. Doesn’t look or smell like a brown but definitely tastes like one.

Tampa, Fl - on tap at the brewpub. Murky, dark brown pour, off-white thick head, nice thick lacing. Aroma of toffee, caramel and molasses. Flavor is nutty with some nice caramel accents, a hint of molasses, some toffee notes and a nice solid lingering pipe tobacco finish. Thick, rich creamy mouthfeel. Excellent companion to my Cuban Sandwich.
