Pours coffee sable just a flea’s eyebrow above black with a thick and persistent chocolate-brown head. Aroma delivers mouth-watering cocoa, roast malt, quality coffee, molasses, vanilla and semi-sweet chocolate notes. Rich flavor presents chocolate, roast malt, quality coffee, vanilla and molasses tones, almost like drinking a chocolate bar with coffee. There seems to be a hint of pepper, but it is subtle; overall, flavor is rather sweet but not cloying. Mouthfeel has thick, viscous body if not a lot of fizz. Make mine an Americano!

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of pungent resinous floral hops, citrus pulp coffee grind, musty character, light vanilla extract, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light vanilla, light peated notes, coffee grind, espresso resin, light Oyster notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. Bottle at the Big Deck tasting 2016.

650ml bottle from GT Package in Grovetown, shared with the Buzhardt Bunch. Black pour with a brown, rapidly fading, head. Aroma has chocolate, roast, cocoa, caramel, espresso. Taste is of sweet caramel, bakers chocolate, roast. Light lactose peeks through as well. Big flavor palate. Full bodied. The blend is well done. There is some alcohol presence. Lowly carbonated. Finishes in a battle between bitter and sweet, with the sweetness somehow beating the Americano bitterness. This is excellent! 17

Spectacular stout. Thick black pour. Coffee, chocolate, roast, vanilla, some booze. Full bodied. Seems like it would be perfect for barrel aging...maybe I'll get to try one of those some time.

Excellente!
