22oz. bottle, labeled as "Caffe Americano". Pours an opaque black with some brown hues. A cinnamon colored head rises deep and that settles to a ring around the glass. Nice legs and gorgeous lace. Aromas are loaded with fresh roasted coffee, espresso, vanilla beans and dry cocoa. The taste is even more bold than the nose suggests. Very creamy/silky mouthfeel that lends itself nicely to the coffee/cocoa/vanilla harmony. Fantastic balance to this, never getting too sweet or too boozy. A nice coffee bitterness comes forth in the finish that is muted by more vanilla and cocoa sweetness. A really nice offering from CCB, very glad to have tried this.....and if I come across it again, I am making milkshakes with this one!

Shared bomber to snifters. Viscous oil. Nose hair curling aromas of coffee, sugar, and a little booze. All sugar up front but ever changing flavors of coffee, dark dark chocolate, vanilla, and roasted goodness. Velvety texture. Like MZ with delicious additions.

Draft, ppurs dark black with small to medium khaki top. Really sticky mouthfeel with sporadic lacing. Aromas of rich espresso roast, fudgy chocolate, vanilla bean, roasted malt and barrel. Flavor is dark chocolate, wood, toffee, and dark fruits. It’s medium to fuller in body with some warming feeling but it’s also a touch sweet. Still very nice...smell was a knockout

Nitro... Pours pitch-black with a small, creamy, beige head. Stubborn retention. The aroma is a swirl of espresso, fudge, caramel and toasted nuts – pistachios and almonds. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and pillow-soft carbonation. The flavor is akin to a huge cup of cafe con leche and it’s every bit as sweet as dulce de leche. Finishes roasty and sticky-sweet. Even for a major malt-head like me, this is too sweet to drink more than one snifter. Enjoyability is high. Drinkability is low.

Growler from the brewery. Inky black pour that is very thick and dense and crowned by a thick head of tan colored foam. The foam slowly recedes and leaves sticky sheets of lace behind on the glass. The aroma is bold is with notes of roasted espresso, dark chocolate, molasses, and ample piney hop bitterness. The real star is the roasted espresso with the mocha sweetness and coffee bitterness that it adds. The flavor follows suit with more darkly roasted espresso, dark chocolate, and a touch of vanilla. The mocha sweetness is balanced out nicely by the dark roasted malt character and the hop bitterness on the back end. Full bodied and almost chewy as you would expect from a CCB stout and finely carbonated that’s leads to a sweet mocha finish. This is just a solid coffee stout. Wayne is still the master of the dark beers. Good stuff.

Growler shared at The Bruery - big thanks to Sam! Pours oily, black-brown with a thick, brown foam head. Heavy coffee on the nose with secondary notes of dark chocolate and tangy wood. Medium sweet flavor with more dense coffee, chocolate syrup, bittersweet baking cocoa, chocolate cake. Full bodied with fine carbonation and chewy texture. Rich dark chocolate character to finish with more hefty coffee, dirt and chocolate cake. Robust and decadent but still balanced and exceedingly tasty.

On draft and from a growler. Famous thick and sludgy CCB imperial stout pour. Beautiful brown almost red head. Cuban coffee nose! Dark sweet molasses as well. Sick and thick on the tongue, huge cafe con leche flavors just from the head alone mixed with brown sugar. This is a sweet stout with nice chocolate undertones as well.
Wish they would bottle this bitch!
