Smells just like a strong cup of coffee in the morning. Delicious beer. Heavy and lots of head. Let sit for a minute and then enjoy the taste even more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 10, 2013 On tap at the Coffee District. Dark brown pour with a chocolate head. Dark roasted malts and black coffee aromas. Sweet but still roasty with chocolate, dark roasted malts, lactose, caramel, and tangy black coffee. Great body with an above average mouthfeel. Re-Rate (original rating 4.1). On tap with nitro at CCB. WOW, what a freakin’ difference. It not only knocked out the tang from the coffee, it totally changed the mouthfeel. Way more creamy and smooth. Very rich with a hint of peanut butter. FANTASTIC. Nitro is the only way to drink the beer......

Draft at Coffee District - pours blacker than black w/brown head. Lots of coffee and chocolate in both the nose and taste. But somewhat acidic from the coffee. Damn good!!! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2013 32oz swing-top growler via trade. super stoked to try another one-off stout from CCB. pours as it should, rich, dense, oil-slick black, and imposing capped by a thin head of dark mocha that leaves oily rings of lace. aroma is pure mocha Frappuccino decadence with deep roasted coffee, dark malts, cocoa powder, brownie batter, and hints of vanilla with just a touch of dark fruit peaking through. flavor is simply ridiculous with huge roasted coffee, chocolate mousse, cookie dough, dense roasted malts, almond milk, and a touch of hazelnut backed by vanilla nougat, more cocoa, and more coffee. palate is one of the most dense I have experienced, I mean this is even thick for a CCB stout, almost like drinking a mocha coffee milkshake with perfect carbonation and a long, dry, roasted finish. overall, just another world class imperial stout from CCB.

Nitro pour. Black, dark tan head. Nose is big coffee, chocolate, sugar. Taste is like a mocha in beer form, some brownie, some milk, roasted malts, but the coffee and chocolate combined with the nitro pour make it very similar to an iced mocha. While there are lots of great flavors here, they are all a bit muddled which keeps this from being on the level of Final Push and Penultimate Push. Creamy, full body, but overall not a fan of big beers on nitro and wish they were doing regular pours.

Looks and pours like crude oil, with a dense mocha head. Rich aroma of chocolate milk, black coffee, cream, espresso, and caramel malt. Slightly sweet in the smell, much more so in the taste. This beer is like brownie or cookie batter in liquid form, chewy and sugary. Full-bodied and much too sweet overall.

Pours jet black, big mocha head. Aroma of a sweetened coffee. Taste is sweet coffee, roast and chocolate. Nice viscosity, really solid beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is creamy coffee and chocolate. Taste is heavy rich coffee, cream and chocolate fading to a cafe latte-like finish. There is a thick cane syrup sweetness that runs throughout. Nice.
