Shared by some nice guy at the Sawworks tasting room. Pours inky rich black with no head. This looks thicker than some motor oils I have seen when you swirl it around in the glass. This is quite possibly the thickest beer I have ever had. Nose is rich malts, roast, coffee, chocolate and other various complexities. Flavor is similar but explodes with fruity dark chili peppers. Wow and so dang thick and bitter acrid roast but good. I liked this one but not much more than a taster glass will do me just fine.

Pour from a growler shared by umr_urgefan- thanks again, Paul! Pours a deep brown, not quite opaque, with no head. Aroma of coffee, cacao nibs, roast, molasses, and earth. Flavor of coffee, chocolate, fudge, and molasses. Medium-bodied, with low carbonation and a dry, chocolaty mouthfeel. Has a somewhat gritty texture, as well, that really emphasizes the coffee beans here. Nice imperial stout.

On tap at World of Beer UCF. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown wad and aroma of coffee, roasted malt, and chocolate. Taste is strong and full of flavor, lots of roasty coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, and alcohol with a long, roasty coffee finish. Heavy mouthful, syrupy texture. Delicious brew, alot of strong flavor packed in

I would be happy to drink this beer starting at 6am every morning. The mellow (dont take that too seriously) coffee flavor blows me away more and more with every sip. This beer has more integrity of flavors than I’ve ever expected. The nose is soft but the flavors will overwhelm you!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Draft at Syb Pig in Boca. Snifter. Pours a complete opaque jet black with one of the darkest mocha heads ever. One finger. Aroma is powerful with chocolate, vanilla, expression, marshmallow , and roasted malts. The taste is also powerful with cocoa, dark chocolate, condensed milk, mocha, sweet malt milkshake, and vanilla. The body is one of the fullest I’ve ever experienced. Thick lactose with a sweet, yet bitter coffee finish. Light carbonation. My only complaint is that’s it is very sweet. I live it but one is all I can take in one sitting.
