One note very coffee-dominant stout, but it does that one note pretty well. Not as complex or interesting as the best coffee stouts though.

Dark brown, sweet, nice bitterness...arguably smells like a colada. Very sweet, rich gooey coffee and sugar character. Very good.

22 oz bottle. (Non barrel aged 5/2014 release) Caffe Americano. Wow, talk about a shit ton of coffee. It’s like an espresso milkshake. Slight cream and sweetness. Fantastic.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz draft pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a black-brown color with a pretty small dark tan head. Aroma is tons of roasted malts, lots of coffee, vanilla. Woody roasted notes, smooth booze, vanilla, roast and chocolate.

2-4 oz bottle pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. From a 22 oz bottle labeled Caffe Americano Double Stout. Dark brownish black with tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate, roast, caramel, mocha. Tastes of same. Full body with a dry finish. Fantastic beer.

22oz. bottle, labeled as "Caffe Americano". Pours an opaque black with some brown hues. A cinnamon colored head rises deep and that settles to a ring around the glass. Nice legs and gorgeous lace. Aromas are loaded with fresh roasted coffee, espresso, vanilla beans and dry cocoa. The taste is even more bold than the nose suggests. Very creamy/silky mouthfeel that lends itself nicely to the coffee/cocoa/vanilla harmony. Fantastic balance to this, never getting too sweet or too boozy. A nice coffee bitterness comes forth in the finish that is muted by more vanilla and cocoa sweetness. A really nice offering from CCB, very glad to have tried this.....and if I come across it again, I am making milkshakes with this one!

Shared bomber to snifters. Viscous oil. Nose hair curling aromas of coffee, sugar, and a little booze. All sugar up front but ever changing flavors of coffee, dark dark chocolate, vanilla, and roasted goodness. Velvety texture. Like MZ with delicious additions.

Bomber shared by Bvery. Thanks man! Dark pour, very thick with no head. Aroma is sweet with vanilla and strong coffee. Taste follows with some chocolate, really nice balance. Really good beer!!

Draft, ppurs dark black with small to medium khaki top. Really sticky mouthfeel with sporadic lacing. Aromas of rich espresso roast, fudgy chocolate, vanilla bean, roasted malt and barrel. Flavor is dark chocolate, wood, toffee, and dark fruits. It’s medium to fuller in body with some warming feeling but it’s also a touch sweet. Still very nice...smell was a knockout
