One note very coffee-dominant stout, but it does that one note pretty well. Not as complex or interesting as the best coffee stouts though.

650 ml bottle thanks to AdamC. Black as a struck match with a thick full tan head. Aroma is rich dark chocolate, bitter espresso bean and a note of molasses. Nice!

The flavor is pretty bitter coffee beans with a nice base of barley and roasted grain. Has a very "green" coffee bean that becomes bitter in the finish. The body is thick and full with a creamy texture. Gosh, this is some thick ass shit right here! Leaves a creamy film over my tongue. You could drop a scoop of vanilla ice cream in this and make an ice cream float. Crazy amounts of coffee and vanilla.

Poured from bottle thanks AdamChandler for the Ratebeer Camp extravaganza. Pours dark black with a foamy lacey chocolate head. Aroma is pepper chocolate espresso. Taste follows. A nice beer.

Bomber, split with a few RBers. 4 ounce pour in stemware at cellar temp.

A - Pitch black, this is a thick oily black.

S - The aroma is huge. Chocolate and espresso bean and vanilla. It’s huge.

T - This is just straight up coffee.....so much coffee and espresso bean and vanilla and maybe even some cinnamon. Roasted notes start quickly and linger for a while. There’s sweetness in the middle and finish.

M - Dense, thick, low bitterness and low carbonation.

O - This is fantastic. If you love coffee, grab a bottle.

Almost black with a caramel head. Finally a super solid coffee stout. Tastes like a cocoa stout with fresh crunched coffee beans (minus the actual crunch). Smells like fresh brewed coffee in a high ABV beer. Love this.

Bottle to glass. Pours a deep brown to black color with a medium brown head. Aroma is massive amounts of coffee. Huge chocolate and coffee in the flavor. Thick mouth feel. Superb. Thanks Eric for sharing!

Pours a used motor oil black with a scorched-gravy-in-the-bottom-of-the-frying-pan brown head. Looking through the glassware, where the head leans against the inside, that scorched brown color takes on a reddish hue. Freshly ground coffee, dried red fruit, cigar leaf, and chocolate are all noted in the aromas. Thick, yet not chewy mouthfeel. Cherry and tobacco dominate the flavors. Bitter coffee expresses itself aggressively as well. Now this is an imperial stout!

Crowler @ CCB, split with Meadme.
