(750ml bottle #15/204 2009 vintage thanks to SudsMcDuff) ruddy orange-brown with a ring of tan bubbles. Nose of leather, bourbon, orange peel, chocolate, and something else I couldn’t pin down. Taste of hot bourbon, mild fusels, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cream, and slightly metallic. Thick viscous body, great linger of chocolate.

75cl bootle nr 115/204. Be carefull. This savage scottich bad tempered bastard is litteral coming out of the bottle when uncaped. Keep an glass ready. The app. is dark with a fine cappochino coloured head. The nose has clear wooden notes topped with some whisky and plumps. The taste has a strange salty sourness with a mild smoky touch. There are some coffee, caramel and wood. The palate is medium without any surprising - I kinda gets the impression of cough syrup. Its really not that interesting. There a way better CCs out there...but still ok though

UPDATED: SEP 25, 2010 Bottle 91 of 204. Big thanks to Dstructo for this bottle. The color is a dark, with a murky brown tint to it. Very low carbonation and no head when poured into my Cigar City snifter glass. The first initial whiff I got bourbon, maple, dark roasted nuts, and a little bit of spicy notes on the back end. Flavors are very stellar, they mask the ABV very well, considering that fact that it’s 10.5%. The mouth feel is pretty big, big but soft, and goes down extremely smooth, no alcohol burn whatsoever. Absolutely incredible.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 SHIG (2703) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - SEP 24, 2010
Bottle thanks to cmillward: This poured a chocolate brown with a beige head. Aroma was mix of nuts, malt, and woods. Taste was very complex with malts, nutty, bourbon, and woods. You could tell that it was blend of several of my favorite CCB beers, however not one overpowered the other making it an extremely balanced beer.

22oz bottle pours a transparent, watery, deep copper brown with very little, spitty head. Nose is boozy, rum, coconut, a little apple brandy, cookie dough, malts, brown sugar. Flavor is cold coffee, vanilla extract, chocolate, bread, coconut, wood pulp. Finish is full bodied and sticky. Pretty good, but not a revelation.

Sample courtesy of Matt Capone. From a bomber. Pours a very dark brown cola with a medium sized beige head. Aroma of tootsie roll, a bourbon brandy blend, roasted malts, and peppers ? Taste is much the same as the aroma. Very nice.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 kramer (3457) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2010
Bottle, via TheCheeseMan. Pours a clear dark brown body with a small beige head that ran to a thin ring. Rather thick and chewy looking. Lots of bourbon, alcohol, vanilla, and roasty notes on the nose. More Big Sound like than anything. Rich and thick flavor with lots of roast, rather sweet with a big vanilla component. The alcohol is quite noticeable but I wouldn’t say that it’s overdone. Thick and chewy mouthfeel but not overly sticky with light soft carbonation. Pretty delicious beer!
