The second beer in the Cervezas Frescas Series, a series that specializes in highlighting refreshing fruit drinks popular in Latin countries. This very unique beer was brewed with copious amounts of rice and lactose sugar and finished off with vanilla beans and cinnamon. The result is a 7% ABV refreshing tasty beverage very reminiscent of the popular drink.

On nitro. Pours clear gold with a thick white "nitro-esque" head. Aroma is cinnamon & apple pie - getting a little gingerbread too. Imagine those aromas translated into flavor and blended with some biscuit-like malts. Nice. The malts and cinnamon linger in the mid palate and the finish kinda drops off, but the flavor is awesome. Like it.

Tallahassee, Fl., on tap at the Proof Tap Room. Light golden and cloudy appearance. Pleasant sugar sweet cinnamon aroma. Flavor reminds me of Toasted Cinnamon Crunch cereal, not too sweet though, a touch of brown sugar. thick enough mouthfeel. Nice little diversion.

Beautiful yellow gold pour with white head. Aroma is musty cinnamon. Taste is cinnamon milk. Incredible.

poured a cloudy yellow color with aromas of lactose, rice pudding, some sugar, and a touch of vanilla. flavors are the same as the aormas with some light cinnamon added to it. A nice beer that I could go to back and back to again.

I absolutely loved this beer. Tastes just like horchata with a kick of alcohol. This needs to be on tap in every bar!

Extremely creamy mouthfeel, excellent use of lactose in a non-stout style. Sweet with notes of cinnamon but certainly more heavily tilted towards a sort of vanilla syrup character. Good stuff, interesting, a bit too sweet to be sessionable. Way better than the Guanabana CF in my opinion.

6/26/13. Originally had on tap at Aardwolf (a couple glasses) and have now had it on tap a couple of other places. I’ll admit it - I love this stuff. Some will say it’s too sweet, and I could see that, but it was not a problem for me. Lightly hazed orange amber pour with a small khaki head. Rich, sweet aroma of lactose, rice pudding, tons of vanilla, perfect cinnamon, and more. Rich flavor, on the sweet side, lactose, rice pudding, vanilla, cinnamon, and more. I could drink gallons of this stuff. So. Good.

On tap at Proof. Murky yellow pour with a thin off-white. Aroma is cinnamon, vanilla. Tastes are a vanilla desert. Not overly sweet though. Was kind of scared of this being too sweet, but it’s a unique sipper.

Mini growler. Pretty much as advertised. Pale "pilsner type" pour with little head. Nose is very "scented candle" like with cinnamon and vanilla dominating. Taste follows the nose. Feels a bit forced but it certainly tastes and smells like horchata.
