Bottle sample @ CBC 2013. What’s with CCB only bringing bottles? The pour’s deep amber with a small head. The nose is toffee, apples and plums. Mulled wine spice, christmas cake. The taste is roast malts, hugely sweet apple syrup, caramel. Rich and warming. Overall, interesting, but a bit too sweet for my tastes.

Pours copper with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, vanilla, oak, grass and citrus. Flavour is caramel, citrus, alcohol, dark fruit and vanilla

Bottle @ CBC 2013. Pours deep brown with a small, creamy, off-white film head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, vinious, sugary, plums, figs. Low carbonation, fine creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, fat caramel, lightly toasted, figs, vinious, light warming. Good elegant finish.

Bottle @CBC13. Hazy brown with little head. Aroma sweet, of cognac, malt, honey and dark fruits. Taste is also very sweet, plums, cognac, malt, caramel and honey

Bottle @ CBC 2013. Dark amber with a small tan head. Fruity with oak tones. Fruit, malt, wood and toffee. Full body with a nice, balanced finish.

På CBC mai-13: En winter warmer lagret på cognacfat. Prøvde denne rett etter Anchorage sin A Deal With the Devil, og da falt den litt igjennom - ikke samme fylden som djevelen fra Alaska. Må prøves en annen gang i mer nøytral setting.

Bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Poured a dark golden brown with a glass hugging tan head. The aroma is rich fruity and alcoholic, leading to a thick alcoholic, fruity, oaky flavour. The cognac is very evident.

Hazy brownish with a small head. Dark fruit, malt, some chocolate, bread, wood and rye bread. Low carbonation and some alcohol in the finish.
