Definitely doesn't deliver on the lager aspect. Aroma is great but looks like a golden Berliner. Taste is sour, a little chocolate and jammy fruit. Astringent finish. Not a good one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Surprisingly good. Didn't get much of the chocolate but the raspberry was definitely there. Light sweetness. Good raspberry tartness. I could drink a bunch of this. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Keg at CCB. It pours hazy pink with a small light pink head. The nose is big on the chocolate front, earth, wood, rasperry, jam and grass. The taste is juicy, tangy raspberry, jam, dull bitterness, grass, earth, nut and faint hint of cocoa with a clean finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Mostly chocolate in the aroma and raspberry on the taste. Not a whole lot going on, but tis good fun!

Tap at cigar city. Chocolate barely noticeable. Red as can be. Kind of scary looking and barely better taste wise. A let down for cigar city.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 On tap at Cigar City Taproom. Pours a dark redwith a pink head and aroma of raspberries and light chocolate. Taste is bizarre, mixed raspberry and chocolate flavors while very sweet and tart. Interesting lager with some unique flavors

On tap at Cigar City Taproom in Tampa. Here goes, I am not a lager head . Pours ruby red with animal head. Nose is straight up chocolate and raspberry. Taste is all chocolate and raspberry , with some tartness.....fruity but not complex and far too sweet. As expected no appreciable hops or malt. Finishes with the same flavors, need to stick with my ales. Quaff Score 6 / 10

On tap at Cigar City tasting room in Tampa, FL. Despite the average rating across the board, this was an interesting beer worth trying. Probably a little too sweet, but it really is exactly what the name suggests. I did expect a little more lager flavor, but I don't know if the lack of standard beer characteristics is a good or bad thing.

Reddish pour, off white head. Flavors of artificial raspberry, an odd fake cherry flavor, good cocoa notes, a bit of off lagerish flavors. Not my favorite.

Draft at CCB during Hunahpu Day 2013 with Andrew and Maggi. Pours a light reddish amber body with thin off white lacing. Aroma is grain, raspberries, very light chocolate and light skunk. Mouthfeel is thin, carbonated with notes of raspberry, dusty cocoa and grain; pretty plain overall.
