Bottle @ home, courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark! JetsonFest II. Clear golden orange appearance with an off white head. Orange peel, somewhat bitter herbal hoppy, grainy wheat malty aroma. Somewhat citrusy, fairly bitter, herbal/earthy, grainy wheat malty, grassy flavor. Ehhhh.

Pour out of 750 mL bottle, thanks Aaron! Hazy orange pour with thin white head, aroma has notes of lemon, spice some lemongrass, touch of orange, slight biscuit and grain. Taste is lemongrass, biscuit, some slight cracker, touch of spicy notes, touch of bread, toffee, finishing fairly bitter. Nicely done, but not a wheat ale.

From Markwise! Pours a clear golden-orange color with a white head. Aroma is big on orange and wheat. Sweet with some bitterness, also some orange and chocolate? Thin bodied with a dry, bitter finish. Not bad, but didn’t love the overly bitter nature of this beer.

Damico (1400) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 22, 2012
Pours unclear dark golden amber with a bubbly champagne appearance and bright white head with decent lacing. The aroma brings light yeast notes, almost funk at first and then some sweetness from the wheat style. The flavor starts out sweet almost like candi sugar which then lingers on the tongue for a bit and settles easily on a lighter than normal body for the wheat ale.

Copper/gold pour, white head. Aroma is loaded with wheat, crackery notes and nice citrus hops. Flavor is much hoppier than I expected with some wheat/caramel malt notes. Good summer drinker.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudu golden with a medium white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, white wine and orange peel. Flavour of bitter orange peel, citrus, wheat, yeast and slight spice - very dry. More flavourful than your average wheat ale. Solid.

Bottle with James, Andrew, and Maggi. Pours a perfectly gold clear. Smell is musty, almost copperish. Taste is smooth but with some vegetable taste. Finishes sticky.
