12oz can pours dark almost opaque brown with light edges and a finger of head. Nose is strong earthy coffee, stale coffee grounds, cocoa powder. Taste is all coffee, dry beans, some vanilla, light dark chocolate notes. Finish is bitter roasty coffee, touches of sweet vanilla, mocha, cocoa.

Hog shack bottle share. Cloudy brown. Aroma of charred soggy wood, chili, coffee. Taste is sweet, with a bit of tart. Palate is pretty thin, with an odd "I wanna be good" finish. Very late stickiness and subtle dryness.

Bottle. Pours hazy brown with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has coffee, oats, brown sugar. The taste has a big carbonation, coffee beans, and a slight chocolate sweetness. Nice!

Perfect clear dark brown with light tan head. Aroma is espresso beans. Reminds me of chocolate covered espresso beans. Taste is clean espresso. Great.

Brownish red pour with a thick frothy cream head. Aroma is cream soda, espresso, tobacco, and roasted malt. Taste is vanilla wafers, coffee beans, light syrup, and cream. Nice and easy drinking.

Pours very dark brown with a reddish tint. Light beige head lingers for a short while. Smell is awesome and of a medium roasty coffee, vanilla, chocolate, warm nuttiness. Taste is rich nutty brown ale like malt, toasty, coffee beans and very light bitterness and acidity. Very nice beer and highly drinkable and like a refreshing cold coffee drink.

Seriously, this is one of the best brown ales I’ve had in a long time. Did I mention I love coffee? Loads of espresso nose, more than the draft version. Fully roasted and pleasant. Flavor is more coffee, paired up wih roasted malt and roasted coffee beans. Light cream notes, man it keeps going, sweetness in the finish. I dig it thoroughly.

Can thanks to Alex. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong coffee bean, toffee, dark chocolate. Thin mouthfeel with strong coffee bean, dark chocolate, with dry finish. Very good.

Pours deep brown with a light tan head. Aroma is espresso and chocolate. Taste is nice mellow mocha and coffee. The mid kinda drops out, but a malty bitterness creeps in for the finish. Great brown.

After today, they may move away from Mazzaro's coffee beans. Being claimed as the best beans in st pete, that is sad news. The batch I'm tasting uses these beans, and the flavor is great. Rich coffee smell and flavor. The color is a little reddish, surprising as I expected a darker brown. But standard dark amber of a brown ale. The body is crisp, but a bit thin. Very drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
