Smells great - funky and fruity. Very sweet and fruity. Nice beer to share but I would have a hard time drinking more than a pint

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle: Opaque, rusty copper body with a huge, volatile, beige head that lasts as a big chunk of foam for quite a while. Aroma of dry, cotton-y Brett funk, moldy pineapple, tart stone fruits, & dry wood. Thereís other nebulous fruit in there, too... Iím guess itís (obviously) guava, though I probably wouldnít have said that if I hadnít known. I get some peach, too. Taste is like sweet, tropical fruit juice. Is this beer? Guava, pineapple, mango, lightly tart, transitioning into mostly sweet, & actually finishing with a little bit of saltiness? Almost brine-like. Sounds strange, but itís not bad. Back-end Brett, dry funk with some wet woody notes. Lots of carbonation, crackling body... Overall, a nice beer, though I wouldnít mind some more tartness. Didnít taste too much of the Chardonnay notes, aside from some wood & Brett.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: The aroma consists of tart guava, lemon, and some light white wine. It pours a hazy dull orange with a two finger off-white head that quickly fades to a thin film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with with moderate tart guava and citrus. The finish has some light-moderate lemon with some faint white wine notes. Itís light-medium bodied with lively carbonation. Overall, really tasty and super refreshing. The cartoons a tad prickly though.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy dark gold with lots of white lacing and billowing white head. Aroma is extremely tart fruits. Taste is tons of dry oak/wood, seems almost malty. Getting the dryness of the chardonnay but no guava or tartness :(

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at blind tiger with max and Andy. Pours a deep murky orange with thin tightly bubbled white lacing. Aroma is sharp sour character and nice fruity guava flavor. Mouthfeel is zippy and tart with notes of sour guava, tart fruits and light vinegar.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Poured from a bomber into a tulip. Murky orange brown color with strong dense head. A very effervescent mouthfeel and strong carbonation. This is less a sour beer than a tart beer, though the guava does come through. However, it finishes with a weird bitterness that kept me from enjoying this fully. While I'm glad I tried this, I find the regular guava grove to be better. It's more sour, more fruity, and has a better mouthfeel.

Nice hazy, golden and red pour. Once this baby warms up the guava and Chardonnay barrels really shine, even has a nice mellow funk aroma. The guava, acidity from the barrel and the overall sweetness seem to battle each other. I think this is a pretty damn interesting brew and I wish I wouldíve grabbed a few more while I was at the brewery on top of my el catador allotment
