UPDATED: JAN 1, 2014 Bottle. Hazy deep yellow pour with a white head. Nose is like a cedary saison. Extreme cedar on taste - dry on the tongue. Interesting.

UPDATED: APR 11, 2012 750ml Bottle: Got in trade from smith4498; THANKS Jason! Aroma of cedar, wood, slight spice, and a hint of coriander. What a nice coriander scent! Poured orange/gold in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished a bit but lasted throughout. Cloudy/hazy. Very sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of cedar, light pepper, and slight yeast. Light to medium body. Slick, then slightly dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, cedar, pepper finish is lightly dry. 9%ABV is completely hidden throughout. I really like this; cedar is your friend.

Bottle received from burg326, thanks Adam. This one was ALL cedar. In the past I like how it worked with other brews, but this one just didn’t work for me.

Bottle shared by MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours clear yellow with a thin with head. The cedar is...wow...spicy and pungent. It overshadows everything else, but there’s a little fruitiness peeking through there. Taste is spicy cedar, with more of the fruitiness peeking through, but man--it’s just cedary as hell. Touch of fruit and a bit of yeast, but the spice and wood is king here. Pretty aggressive carbonation. Too much wood in this one.

Sample from Vinnie. Pours clear orange with minimal white head. Aroma of cedar, orange, lemon, corriander, and some odd spices. Tastes exactly like orange slice candy, with a lot of spice in the back. Soft, clean palate with some more of the corriander spicy sweetness in the finish. Good beer.

PhillyCraft (3166) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2012
UPDATED: APR 7, 2012 Bottle split with keith. Pours a shimmering clearish gold, small white soapy head, sporadic lacing. Aromas are fuckin unreal. Pure gruit cedar, this brings me back to the best beer cigar city ever made. Shame it got axed this year. This must be the replacement. Other scents of ginger, vanilla, vtg cedar, orange. Taste is a creamy, cedar aged, fruity spicy wood funk yo.

(750ml bottle) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of cedar, DEET, florals, and pine. Flavor of cedar, herbs, lemon, and caramel with a dry finish.
