Hazy orange, off white lace. Bit too much spicy, but also a decent sweaty, fermented fruit and sweaty. Sweet and sharp notes, herbal bitterness. It’s okay. (At Deanso’s tasting)

"You get a hint of the spices and fruitiness in the aroma and flavor, but all of that takes a back seat to the cedar, which is pleasant, but also too dominant for anything else to really shine, and therefore taking away from the beer as a whole. Pretty good, but pretty simple. Don’t see the need to collaborate on this as this is what CC’s Humidor beers taste like."

Lots of cedar character dries this beer while overwhelming the palate. Mild wildness.

Bottle at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade, july 24th 2014. Hazy golden body with a big lively white head. Aroma of cedar, grapefruit, funk, taste is funky with heavy cedar and notes of grapefruit, red apples, orange zest and wood. Delicious! Dry fruity finish, lasting fruit aftertaste. A nice one!

Unclear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of vanilla, lemon, weak sour and danish "kærnemælkskoldskål". A flavor of lemon, spice, perfume and a lemon-dry mouthfeel.

Bottle. The aroma is all cedar, I feel like I am in a cabin up north in the woods. The pour is standard orange. The cedar continues in the taste big time. Interesting for sure. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Slightly murky caramel colored pour with no head. Nice aroma of spanish cedar with spices. Taste is cedar up front before a fairly generic and sweet malt backbone with some spices. Coating mouthfeel. The cedar is nice; otherwise did not care for the beer.

Deep golden color with a nice white head. Spicy coriander nose with some citrus notes. Grapefruit, bitter orange, coriander, and honey sweetness. I don’t get cedar...

This was a terrible beer. Granted it was old but you can tell it was never good. There’s a reason that this beer was never very popular. Poured into a snifter. The smell is bad and the taste is worse. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. That’s all I have to say about this. Don’t waste your time.

750 ml bottle shared by Keir- thanks again, Keir! Pours a hazed gold with a medium white head. That’s after gushing like crazy, of course. Thanks again, Keir, for splashing my back as you ran to the sink with it! This has a massive cedar aroma, which gives it that woody, dry, spicy nose- leaves, herbs, celery salt, maybe a dash of ginger, with pale malts and a bit of fruity funk. The flavor is a somewhat toned down version of the same, with some late florals and citrus. Some sugary sweetness, too. Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, spicy mouthfeel. Pretty unique saison. I like the cedar stuff CCB does.

Bottle:   Thanks Cory for this one!   Dusty pale orange, minor haze, thin sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Huge cedar nose, HUGE.   Minor citrusy spices.   Hard to pull those out because of the cedar.   Not as strong with the cedar on the tongue, more of the coriander, ginger, and citrus peel.   Very bright candied citrus peel and pith, in conjuction with the cedar.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Warming, but can’t taste the 9% ABV.   Resiny finish, citrus oriented, with cedar lingering well beyond.   Interesting...
