Wtf!! Opened up 1 pint bottle and it sprayed everywhere like a geyser!! What a mess to clean up, probly lost 1/4 of the bottle! That should not have happened as it was sitting in the fridge atleast 4 hours. Anyway aroma is citrusy, sweet, corriander, honey like... Taste is the same, but amplified corriander and citrus, cloves, spices. Overall this is a unique, very delicious beer, and now that im buzzed up, I guess I can look past the 90 psi bottle pressure.

750mL courtesy of markwise. It opened up and proceeded to spray out beer like a fire hose as I tried to extract the bottle cap. WTF!! So infected mess, right? Hmm. Smells fine . . . tastes fine . . . whyd it blow then? Whatever. The aroma offers up sweet honey, honey sweetened ginger, some various saison like spices like coriander and maybe a bit of clove as well as fruity notes like apples, pears and apricots. The taste is similar with a good deal of spices followed by honey sweetened light skin fruitiness. Midway I pick up a moderate to mild level of wood that has a drying influence on the beer as it comes to the finish. Rich yummy stuff.

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. The aroma is butterscotch, tangerines, coriander, flowers, vanilla, and pine sap. The flavor is very sweet and a little sour and wonderfully balanced into a citrusy and tart treat. The aftertaste is long and lightly bitter. The palate is medium, acidic, lively and creamy. Overall, this is complex, subtle and very delicious beer. The flavor is wonderfully balanced and crisp, and the palate is perfect. Highly recommended.

Pours yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is loaded with citrusy lemon and grapefruit with some spice and oaky wood. Flavor is spicy and citrusy with smooth finish. It is very tasty companion to the cedar version.
