Bottle… Cloudy golden ale with a mid-sized, frothy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is woody, citrusy and spicy, offering grapefruit rind and a touch of vanilla. Full-bodied and lightly creamy with lazy carbonation. The flavor is spicy, woody and mildly acidic with a tiny bitter bite. Finishes tangy, raspy and then dry. Bottle courtesy of landhoney!

750 mL bottle. Pours a hazy orange with a small off-white head. The aroma is butterscotch, tangerines, coriander, flowers, vanilla, and pine sap. The flavor is very sweet and a little sour and wonderfully balanced into a citrusy and tart treat. The aftertaste is long and lightly bitter. The palate is medium, acidic, lively and creamy. Overall, this is complex, subtle and very delicious beer. The flavor is wonderfully balanced and crisp, and the palate is perfect. Highly recommended.

Pours cloudy golden with a beige head. Aroma is malt, perfume, grapefruit, light oak notes. Flavour is caramel, sweet grapefruit, perfume, spice and pepper.

Pours yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is loaded with citrusy lemon and grapefruit with some spice and oaky wood. Flavor is spicy and citrusy with smooth finish. It is very tasty companion to the cedar version.

Bottle @ Scott’s Summer Saison tasting. Thanks so much Scott! hazy golden appearance with a cream colored head. Spicy, woody, a bit toasty, lemon citrusy aroma. Lemon fruit syrupy, fairly spicy, woody, a bit peppery flavor. Cool beer.

From tap at CBC.Hazy yellow colour with medium white head.Aroma of exotic fruits,yeast and pine wood,fresh and crispy,with fresh fruity mouthfeels and nice well balanced finish.

Poured a cloudy straw yellow and had an amazing aroma. Grapefruity with some woodiness and maybe some subtle smoke, possibly from smoked wood chips? The flavour is sweet and nicely rounded. Grapefruit is sweeter and smoother than would come from hopping. Full mouth feel and some slight heat on the back.

Pours a cloudy deep yellow color and soapy white head. Aroma is spicy, lemon, grapefruit, and oak. Taste is sweet, and spicy (ginger?). Full bodied and sticky. Smooth finish. Good stuff!
